CYSD as a ‘Resource Center’ has been providing services to the communities as well as various institutions in the state of Orissa and outside  since 1982.  The center originally designed to work as a nodal agency for organizations and Individuals who in turn are expected to help disseminate information. Since then we have expanded our work on one hand, at the side of the people in some of the most challenging areas of Orissa, and on the other hand, complex policy issues particularly on local self governance, Primary Education and Rural Sustainable Livelihood

With an aim of increasing citizenry awareness and influence both the public and policy makers we are providing the best possible services and supports in the form of different theme-based publications, training manuals, planning tools and IEC Materials in simple English and Oriya for local and grassroots’ audience. We are continually trying to remain on the cutting edge of developing new services, new strategies for individual, community support, and innovative ways of delivering them.We hope you will enjoy learning about the Resource Center during your virtual tour of our organization.
