Job Title: Cluster Coordinator (8)

Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India

Role: Coordinator

Description:

Collect, manage, and analyse demographic and economic data from various sources.
Develop econometric models and methodologies to analyse demographic-economic relationships.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses of demographic policies and interventions.
Monitor and evaluate the economic impact of demographic changes on labour markets, healthcare, housing, education, and other relevant sectors.
Prepare written reports, policy briefs, and presentations summarizing economic findings and recommendations.
Review/ analyse Fiscal Policies of the state with focus on different demographic strata .
Develop policy briefs, review notes/ reports and working papers.
Facilitate strategic engagement with government, CSOs, corporates, media, academia and develop background notes and presentation decks for the purpose.

Skills & Competencies we are looking for:

A master’s or doctoral degree in economics, Development Studies or a related field.
Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in statistical analysis and econometric modeling.
Experience in conducting economic research and analysis, preferably in the context of demographic studies.
Familiarity with demographic data sources, such as census data, surveys, and administrative records.
Proficiency in relevant software and programming languages (e.g., Stata, R, Python) for data analysis and modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex economic concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Experience in applying statistical theories techniques, forecasting, growth and simulation modelling and predictive methods.
