Project Description :

The stakeholders of the program will be WSHG & FPC, in which monetary assistance will be provided to the beneficiaries to promote Agri- & Allied Agri- enterprises in the aforementioned blocks. These activities will be scaled up by using the revolving fund under the direct supervision of the FPC.

There are two FPCs (Farmers Producer Company) promoted by CYSD in the proposed blocks, under the guidelines of the OLM, one each in Kundura and Boipariguda. Both of them have been operating since 2018. At the initial stage, OLM supported the institution building and capacity building of the members for their effective governance. However, now it is limited to the input support for their agricultural activities, and the FPCs are still in need of capacity building for introduction of advanced packages of practices, post-harvest drudgery reduction, technical support to streamline their operations and better market linkages.
